Allocate a portion of your income to meet obligatory religious obligations, such as zakat and sadaqah. Being mindful of these commitments will help you prioritize your spending and ensure that you fulfill your religious responsibilities.
When it comes to zakat, it is important to understand its significance in Islam. Zakat is not just a form of charity; it is a pillar of Islam that purifies your wealth and helps to alleviate poverty in the community. By including zakat as a regular expense in your budget, you are actively participating in this important aspect of your faith.
Next, it is crucial to identify your essential expenses, such as housing, utilities, food, and transportation. These are the basic necessities that everyone requires to live a comfortable life. Islam encourages moderation and avoiding extravagance, so it is important to allocate funds to cover these necessities while being mindful of your spending habits.
When it comes to housing, consider factors such as rent or mortgage payments, property taxes, and maintenance costs. By budgeting for these expenses, you can ensure that you have a safe and comfortable place to live, while also being financially responsible.
Utilities, such as electricity, water, and gas, are essential for daily living. By allocating funds for these expenses, you can ensure that you have access to these basic necessities without any interruptions.
Food is another essential expense that should be included in your budget. Consider factors such as groceries, dining out, and any dietary restrictions or preferences you may have. By planning your meals and shopping wisely, you can not only save money but also ensure that you are nourishing your body in accordance with your faith.
Transportation expenses can include fuel costs, public transportation fees, or vehicle maintenance. By budgeting for these expenses, you can ensure that you have reliable transportation to get to work, school, or the mosque, while also being mindful of your environmental impact.
Finally, it is important to set aside a portion of your income for long-term goals such as education, marriage, and charitable endeavors. Planning for the future is not only financially prudent but also in line with Islamic teachings. Education is highly valued in Islam, so allocating funds for your own or your children's education is an investment in both personal and religious growth.
Marriage is also an important aspect of life for many individuals. By budgeting for marriage expenses, such as dowry, wedding ceremony, and setting up a new household, you can ensure that you are financially prepared for this significant milestone.
Charitable endeavors are highly encouraged in Islam, and by setting aside funds for charitable giving, you can actively contribute to the betterment of society. Whether it's supporting local organizations, sponsoring an orphan, or participating in community development projects, your budget can reflect your commitment to making a positive impact.
Remember, by creating a budget based on your faith, you are taking a proactive approach towards managing your finances responsibly. It is not just about numbers and calculations; it is about aligning your financial decisions with your beliefs and values. By doing so, you can achieve financial stability while also fulfilling your religious obligations and making a positive impact on the world around you.
Investing in your future is crucial but even more so when you start early. Islamic finance offers various investment options that comply with Shariah principles. Whether it is investing in halal stocks, real estate, or mutual funds, you can grow your wealth while adhering to Islamic values.
Investing early allows you to benefit from compound interest and long-term growth potential. By starting early, you give your investments more time to grow, which can significantly impact your financial well-being in the future. This means that even small investments made early on can turn into substantial sums over time.
One of the key advantages of investing early is the power of compound interest. Compound interest is the interest earned not only on the initial investment but also on the accumulated interest from previous periods. This compounding effect can lead to exponential growth in your investments over time.
For example, let's say you start investing $1,000 at the age of 25 with an annual return of 8%. By the time you reach 65, your investment would have grown to approximately $21,725. However, if you had started investing the same amount at the age of 35, your investment would only grow to around $10,063 by the time you reach 65. This significant difference is due to the extra time your investment had to compound and grow.
Additionally, through informed investment decisions, you can support ethical practices and industries that align with Islamic values. Islamic finance emphasizes ethical investing, which means avoiding investments in industries such as alcohol, gambling, and tobacco. By investing early in halal stocks or funds, you can contribute to the growth of businesses that adhere to ethical principles and promote societal well-being.
However, navigating the world of Islamic finance and halal investments can be complex. It is essential to seek guidance from financial advisors who specialize in Islamic finance. They can help you understand the intricacies of halal investment and ensure you make prudent choices that align with your faith and financial goals.
These specialized advisors can assist you in identifying halal investment opportunities that offer growth potential while adhering to Shariah principles. They can also help you assess the risks associated with different investment options and develop a diversified portfolio that suits your risk tolerance and financial objectives.
Furthermore, financial advisors can provide ongoing support and guidance, helping you stay updated on market trends and making necessary adjustments to your investment strategy as needed. This proactive approach ensures that your investments continue to align with your goals and adapt to changing market conditions.
In conclusion, investing early offers numerous benefits, especially when it comes to Islamic finance. By starting early, you can take advantage of compound interest and long-term growth potential, allowing your investments to grow significantly over time. Additionally, by making informed investment decisions, you can support ethical practices and industries that align with Islamic values. To make the most of your early investments, it is crucial to seek guidance from financial advisors who specialize in Islamic finance and can help you navigate the complexities of halal investment.
Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam and holds immense significance for Muslims. By giving a share of their wealth to those in need, young Muslims not only fulfill a religious obligation but also contribute to the betterment of society.
Zakat acts as a means of purifying wealth and fostering compassion towards those who are less fortunate. It helps in reducing disparities in society and provides assistance to those facing financial hardships. Through righteous giving, young Muslims can experience the profound impact of zakat on their own spiritual growth and the well-being of others.
Before giving zakat, it is essential to understand the guidelines set forth by Islamic jurisprudence. Seek advice from scholars or reputable organizations to ensure that your contributions are directed to deserving recipients and used effectively.
Young Muslims should strive to make their money work for them by adopting smart financial practices. This includes distinguishing between halal and haram income sources and avoiding involvement in unethical financial activities.
Consider exploring Islamic banking and finance options that conform to Shariah principles. Islamic banking offers various products, such as halal mortgages and Islamic savings accounts, which are free from interest and comply with Islamic law. Engaging with ethical financial institutions can help you earn profits in a way that aligns with your faith.
Furthermore, investing in your education and acquiring relevant skills is a sound financial decision. By continuously learning and improving, you can increase your earning potential and create more opportunities for yourself in both personal and professional spheres.
The concept of desires and wants plays a significant role in managing finances. Islam encourages self-control to avoid overindulgence in material possessions. By understanding the difference between needs and wants, young Muslims can prioritize their spending and avoid accumulating unnecessary debt.
It is crucial to assess your desires and reflect upon whether they align with Islamic teachings and principles. Learning to resist the temptation of unnecessary spending can have a profound impact on your financial well-being. Redirecting your resources towards fulfilling your long-term goals and helping others can bring greater fulfillment and satisfaction.
By incorporating these financial tips into your life, you can build a strong financial foundation while adhering to the principles of Islam. Remember, financial responsibility, guided by faith, is a powerful tool to create a prosperous and fulfilling future.

When it comes to fashion, age should never be a barrier. Fashion is a form of self-expression, and it can be tailored to suit every stage of life. Let's start by exploring trendy outfits for junior girls.
Junior girls have a unique sense of style that is all their own. While keeping comfort in mind, they can experiment with vibrant colors and quirky patterns. A great way to elevate their abaya style is by accessorizing with statement pieces like chunky necklaces or stylish headbands. Mixing and matching different textures and fabrics is also a fun way to create interesting and youthful looks.
For a casual day out, opt for a flowy open abaya in a playful print paired with wide-leg pants and a colorful top. Add a touch of glam with a pair of sneakers or sandals. If the weather is cooler, layer the outfit with a trendy denim jacket or a cozy cardigan. This will not only keep them warm but also add an extra element of style to the ensemble.
When it comes to more formal events, a closed abaya with delicate embroidery or beading can create a sense of elegance. Pair it with some dainty accessories like a pearl necklace or a sparkly clutch. Complete the look with a sophisticated pair of flats or heels, and they'll be ready to take on any occasion with style.
Fashion is not just limited to women, and men too can embrace their sense of style when it comes to abayas. For men who prefer a more relaxed and casual look, open abayas are the way to go. Opt for neutral colors like black, navy, or gray and pair them with slim-fit pants and a stylish shirt for a sleek and modern look.
If comfort is a top priority, closed abayas made from lightweight and breathable materials are an excellent choice. Pair them with loose-fitting trousers and a simple, well-fitted shirt for a classic and timeless look. Remember to pay attention to the small details, such as the length and fit of the abaya, to ensure a polished appearance.
Accessories can also play a significant role in men's abaya fashion. A stylish watch, a leather belt, or a well-crafted pair of shoes can elevate the overall look and make a fashion statement. Don't be afraid to experiment with different accessories to find the perfect balance between style and comfort.
Young boys also deserve to look fashionable and stylish in their abayas. For a trendy and cool look, opt for open abayas with bold prints or graphic designs. Pair them with tailored trousers and a crisp button-down shirt for a polished and put-together ensemble. Consider adding a blazer or a vest for an extra touch of elegance.
Accessories can make a significant difference in boys' abaya fashion as well. A cool hat, a stylish belt, or a funky pair of sunglasses can add personality and flair to their outfits. Encourage them to express their individuality through their fashion choices and have fun experimenting with different styles.
Accessories are the perfect way to elevate any abaya look. They add personality, sparkle, and flair to your outfit, regardless of your age. Let's explore some must-have accessories that every wardrobe needs.
A belt can cinch in the waist of an abaya, creating a flattering silhouette. Whether you prefer a wide or slim belt, opt for one that complements the color and style of your abaya. A metallic or embellished belt can add a touch of glamour to a simple abaya, while a contrasting colored belt can create a bold statement. Experiment with different belt styles to find the one that accentuates your unique style.
Not only does a belt add visual interest to your abaya, but it also serves a practical purpose. It helps to define your waistline and create an hourglass shape, enhancing your overall figure. Additionally, a belt can transform the look of your abaya, taking it from casual to formal with just a simple accessory.
Hijab caps are a versatile accessory that can be worn under your hijab to add volume and shape to your hairstyle. They also help to keep your hijab in place throughout the day. Choose hijab caps in colors or patterns that complement your abaya and add an extra layer of style to your overall look.
For a more casual and sporty look, opt for hijab caps in breathable and lightweight materials. These caps are perfect for everyday wear and provide comfort while keeping your hijab secure. On the other hand, for a formal event, choose hijab caps adorned with delicate beads or embroidery for an extra touch of elegance. These caps not only serve their practical purpose but also add a touch of glamour to your hijab style.
One common struggle when wearing a hijab is keeping it in place throughout the day. Hijab magnets are a game-changer in this regard. They are strong yet discreet, and they help to hold your hijab securely without damaging the fabric. Invest in a set of high-quality hijab magnets and bid farewell to hijab pins that may cause discomfort.
With hijab magnets, you can say goodbye to the constant readjustment of your hijab. These small but powerful accessories provide a secure hold, ensuring that your hijab stays in place even during activities or windy weather. They are easy to use and do not leave any visible marks on your hijab, making them a practical and convenient choice for every hijabi.
While hijab magnets are great for holding your hijab in place, hijab pins are the go-to accessory for adding a touch of flair and personality to your hijab style. Choose hijab pins in various colors and designs to match different abayas and create different looks. Use them to secure your hijab folds or to create stylish drapes that enhance the overall elegance of your abaya.
Hijab pins are not only functional but also serve as decorative elements. They come in a wide range of designs, from simple and minimalist to intricate and ornate. You can use them to add a pop of color to your hijab or to create beautiful patterns and shapes. With hijab pins, you have endless possibilities to express your personal style and make a statement with your hijab.

Wearing the hijab can be a beautiful and empowering experience, but for those new to it, it may seem daunting. Fear not! In this article, we will break down the process of wearing a hijab into five easy steps, providing you with all the information you need to confidently embrace this powerful aspect of Islamic culture.
Before we delve into the practical aspects of wearing a hijab, it is essential to understand its cultural and religious importance. The hijab is not simply a fashion statement; it serves as a visual representation of a woman's commitment to her faith and her desire to preserve her modesty. By wearing the hijab, Muslim women aim to showcase their inner beauty, intellect, and worth, rather than being judged solely on their appearance.
The hijab holds a profound significance in the lives of Muslim women, as it is deeply rooted in Islamic culture and is seen as a way to uplift and protect women from societal judgment and objectification. It serves as a statement of identity, reminding wearers and others of their spiritual journey and commitment to their faith.
Modesty is highly regarded in Islam, and the hijab is considered an embodiment of this virtue. By covering their hair and bodies, Muslim women demonstrate their commitment to maintaining their modesty and preserving their dignity.
The cultural and religious importance of the hijab cannot be overstated. It is not merely a piece of cloth; it carries with it centuries of tradition, symbolism, and spiritual significance. The hijab is a visual representation of a woman's devotion to her faith and her desire to adhere to the teachings of Islam.
In Islamic culture, the hijab is seen as a means to protect women from the gaze of strangers and to maintain their honor and dignity. It is a way for Muslim women to assert their identity and to show their commitment to their religious beliefs. By wearing the hijab, Muslim women make a powerful statement about their values and their place in society.
Furthermore, the hijab serves as a constant reminder to Muslim women of their spiritual journey. It is a physical manifestation of their faith and a symbol of their connection to Allah. By wearing the hijab, Muslim women carry with them a sense of purpose and a reminder of their responsibilities as followers of Islam.
Modesty is a core value in Islam, and the hijab is considered an essential aspect of practicing modesty. By covering their hair and bodies, Muslim women demonstrate their commitment to maintaining their modesty and preserving their dignity. The hijab serves as a shield, protecting women from objectification and reducing the focus on physical appearance.
Through the hijab, Muslim women aim to shift the focus from external beauty to inner qualities such as intelligence, kindness, and strength of character. It allows them to be seen and respected for who they are as individuals, rather than being judged solely based on their physical appearance.
Moreover, the hijab empowers Muslim women to navigate the world with confidence and self-assurance. It allows them to move through society without feeling the need to conform to societal beauty standards or seek validation through their looks. The hijab becomes a source of strength and a means of expressing their individuality while staying true to their faith.
Now that we have explored the significance of the hijab, let's move on to the practicalities of wearing one. Before you begin, it's important to gather the necessary materials:
The fabric of your hijab plays a crucial role in your overall comfort and style. Opt for lightweight materials like cotton or chiffon, especially during warmer months, to ensure breathability and ease of movement.
Cotton is a popular choice for hijabs due to its softness and ability to absorb moisture. It is a breathable fabric that allows air to circulate, keeping you cool and comfortable throughout the day. Chiffon, on the other hand, is a lightweight and sheer fabric that adds an elegant and flowy touch to your hijab style.
When selecting the fabric, consider the climate and weather conditions of your location. If you live in a hot and humid area, you may want to prioritize fabrics that are lightweight and moisture-wicking to help you stay cool and dry.
In addition to the hijab itself, you will need a few key accessories. Invest in some hijab pins to secure your hijab in place and prevent it from slipping. These pins come in various designs and sizes, allowing you to choose ones that match your personal style.
Another accessory to consider is an inner cap or an underscarf. This piece is worn underneath the hijab and helps to secure it in place throughout the day. Inner caps are usually made of stretchy and breathable materials like cotton or viscose, providing a comfortable base for your hijab.
Some women also opt for underscarves with built-in headbands or adjustable straps to ensure a snug fit. These features help to keep the hijab in place, especially during physical activities or windy weather.
Additionally, you may want to explore other accessories such as hijab magnets or clips, which provide an alternative way to secure your hijab without the use of pins. These magnetic or clip-on options offer convenience and ease of use, particularly for those who prefer a hassle-free hijab styling process.
Remember, the choice of accessories may vary depending on your personal preferences and the style of hijab you prefer. Experiment with different options to find what works best for you in terms of comfort, style, and practicality.
Now that you are well-equipped with the necessary materials, let's navigate through the five easy steps of wearing a hijab:
Before putting on your hijab, ensure that your hair is clean and dry. If you have long hair, tie it neatly into a low bun or ponytail, ensuring that there are no loose strands that may peek out from under your hijab. A hairstyle that keeps your hair flat against your head will provide a smoother base for your hijab.
Start by folding your hijab into a triangle shape. Place the folded edge at the center of your forehead, ensuring that the two ends are equal in length. Hold the ends, cross them over each other under your chin, and bring them back to the front.
Once you have crossed the ends, wrap them around your head, ensuring a snug fit without pulling too tight. Bring the ends back to the front and secure them with a hijab pin to keep everything in place. Experiment with different pinning styles to find a look that suits you.
The way you style your hijab can add a personal touch to your overall look. Play around with different folds, pleats, and drapes to create unique and stylish variations. Remember to consider your face shape and personal style to find a style that suits you best.
Wearing a hijab should not hinder your comfort or creativity. Here are some tips to ensure you feel at ease and stylish throughout the day:
Choose hijabs made from lightweight and breathable materials to ensure maximum comfort. Avoid fabrics that may cause irritation or discomfort, especially during hot weather. Additionally, practice wearing your hijab for short periods at home before venturing out to ensure you feel comfortable and confident.
Don't be afraid to experiment with different hijab styles to match your outfit or mood. Explore various draping techniques, pleats, and accessories to add versatility and creativity to your hijab looks. Remember, your hijab is an expression of your individuality.
Proper care and maintenance of your hijab will ensure its longevity and continued shape. Here are a few essential tips:
Regularly wash your hijabs according to the fabric's care instructions. This will prevent any dirt or sweat buildup and maintain their freshness. When not in use, store your hijabs neatly folded or hung to avoid any creases or damage.
Over time, your hijabs may wear out due to regular use or natural wear and tear. If you notice any frays, tears, or fading, it's time to replace them to maintain a polished and put-together appearance. Consider donating your old hijabs to local charitable organizations or individuals in need.
Wearing the hijab is an empowering choice that allows Muslim women to express their faith and personality. By following the five easy steps outlined above, you can confidently incorporate the hijab into your daily routine with comfort, style, and pride. Embrace this beautiful tradition and showcase your inner strength to the world. Remember, the hijab is not just a piece of fabric; it is a powerful symbol of faith, modesty, and self-expression.

This holy month is observed by Muslims worldwide through fasting, prayer, and acts of charity. In this blog post, we will explore what Ramadan is, why Muslims celebrate it and the significants of Eid al-Fitr.
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and is the most sacred month for Muslims.
It is believed that the Quran was first revealed to the Prophet Muhammad during this month, which makes it a time of great significance.
Muslims fast from dawn until dusk during this month, abstaining from food, drink, and other physical needs. This is done to purify the soul, focus on prayer and to get closer to Allah.
Ramadan is also a time for giving, forgiveness, and reflection.
Muslims celebrate Ramadan as a way of showing devotion to Allah and seeking His blessings. It is a month to focus on spiritual reflection and personal growth.
Through fasting, Muslims learn self-discipline, patience, and empathy for those less fortunate.
Ramadan is also a time for increased prayer and recitation of the Quran. It is believed that during this month, good deeds are multiplied, and the rewards for them are increased.
While fasting is obligatory for all adult Muslims, there are exemptions for those who are unable to fast.
These include people who are sick, elderly, pregnant, or menstruating. In such cases, Muslims are encouraged to make up the missed fasts at a later time or to feed the poor in lieu of fasting.
Eid al-Fitr is the festival of breaking the fast that marks the end of Ramadan.
It is a joyous celebration where Muslims come together with family and friends to celebrate the completion of the month-long fast.
It is a time of feasting, giving gifts, and offering prayers. Muslims are also encouraged to give to charity during this time, known as Zakat al-Fitr, to ensure that even the less fortunate can partake in the celebrations.
Ramadan is a month of spiritual renewal, personal growth, and increased devotion to Allah. It is a time for Muslims to reflect on their faith and to deepen their relationship with Allah.
Through fasting, prayer, and acts of charity, Muslims seek to purify their souls and attain Allah's blessings. Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan and is a time for joyous celebration and giving to those in need.
]]>If you were born Muslim, you probably already know the answer but to those who are new to Islam, lets anwser the popular question, "Is Valentine's day Haram in Islam?"
Valentine's Day is a holiday celebrated annually on February 14th, and is a day of love and affection. The origins of the holiday are debated, but it is believed to have originated from Christian martyrs named Saint Valentine.
The holiday has evolved over time and is now celebrated by couples all over the world, with the exchange of gifts, flowers, and cards being a common practice.
However, the celebration of Valentine's Day is a controversial topic in some cultures and religions.
In Islam, for example, celebrating Valentine's day is considered haram (forbidden) because it's a holiday that originates in another religion and has nothing to do with the teachings of the Prophet pbuh.
Therefore, if a person gives their husband/wife a gift on the day with the intent to celebrate Valentine's, it's considered a major sin.
However, Islam does encourage married couples to express love to each other, it just should not be as part of these celebrations.
Showing love, affection and kindness can be done 365 days a year and does not need to be reserved for one special day on a specific event.

]]>Islam highly values modesty. Modesty (Haya) is an important part of our Faith.
Prophet Muhammad said:
"Haya does not bring anything except good." Source: Bukhari
Modesty isn't just about the cloths you wear, it includes your behaviour with others. How you speak, how you look and how ultimately how you carry yourself in society.
The good news is that anyone can become more modest. It just takes effort and the right attude. If you're not sure where to get started, don't worry you are at the right place —this blog post will walk you through some simple changes you can make to start becoming a more modest Muslim.
You have to start somewhere and the best place to start is with the fard (compulsory) of Islam. Allah will automatically put barakat in your life when you do things for His sake. He will make it easier for you but you need to put in the effort first.
If you don't have any hijabs or scarfs, you can purchase an essential hijab box or a few individual colours that you feel comfortable with, we recommend black as its a go to for so many Muslim women and make sure to get undercaps too.
You can start by wearing the hijab at home and start to become familiar with how to wear it and how to style it to match you. Overtime you can start to wear it outside and become a full time hijabi.
Modest people do not brag about their wealth or accomplishments. They do not go out of their way to tell people things that may make them jealous. Your material things should not define you.
You should not post everything about your life on social media. It's very true, "A private life is a very happy life." and on top that the evil eye exists and we must do our part to protect us from that.
Therefore you shouldn't boast about anything. Keep it lowkey and only share personal matter with people you trust.
Receiving compliments should not get to you. You need to remain humble and accept the compliment graciously with a smile, but you should not let it feed into your ego or make you think that you're better than others.
Even if you are blessed with tremedous wealth, one should always live a very simple life. Verily a simple life leads to a happy life.
Your worldly things, expensive bags or jewellery should not be in your posession to make you feel good. It is better to give, give through charity, give through gifts. That will make you more happy.
You don't need thousands of cloths or hundreds of shoes, or an abundance of things. A few will suffice. An abundance of things will not make you modest in the sight of Allah.
Living below your means doesn't mean you must suffer, it just means you should never allow money or world things to foster your ego or desires.
While getting comfortable with Hijabs, you also need to get comfortable with modest dresses and modest wear. You need to stop wearing tight, fitting cloths especially when you go public.
The clothing you wear must be loose and it should cover your awrah (Intimate parts in Islam). We recommend abayas as they are worn by muslim women around the world and come in many styles and variety.
Our Khatijah Abayas are comfortable and modest to wear inside and outside the home. You should definitely check them out.
Avoid extremes at both ends of the spretrum. Don't go crazy with makeup such that you look like a Kardashian nor become those people that say "makeup is haram".
Islam is all about balance. It about is finding balance that is allowed in Islam and alows in one life.

]]>Charity is the Third Pillar of Islam and menstioned many times in the Holy Quran. It is often refered to as Zakat and is obligatory on every muslim who has the means of giving. A percentage of 2.5% of ones wealth must be given to charity every year. Being charitable and showing gestures of kindness is a highly esteemed value in Islam.
Everything one has belongs to Allah and therefore a Muslim is obliged to share his/her wealth with those who are less fortunate. As Muslims, we believe that giving charity eases our sins and introduces barakat (blessing) into our lives.
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) has narrated:
“The believer’s shade on the Day of Judgement will be his charitable acts”
Nothing feels better than the act of giving that serves as a reminder that everything we have in this world is immaterial and never initially belonged to us in the first place. Be like the Prophet and never forget the importance of giving charity in Islam, not only for the good of yourself but your acts of kindness will help to raise up everyone around you.
Islam is so beautiful that even giving a smile is considered charity.
That is why everytime you purchase anything from Fajr Noor, we will donate on your behalf a portion of every sale. We hope you do no forget those are less fortunate than yourself and become the reason for the smile on someones face, inshallah.
In Islam, the term 'Hijab' doesn't actually refer to the scarf that many muslim women wear beautifully drape around to cover their hair! Hijab is an arabic word meaning barrier or partition between ones modesty and the outside world.
Interestingly the Hijab doesn't just relate to women but men too! In Islam, dressing modestly applies to both genders.
Now over time, the Hijab has taken a different definition and most of us when we hear it, take it as the a name for a scarf or headscarf that our lovely muslim sisters wear. Wearing a veil that looks like a hijab was once practiced by Muslim, Jews, and Christians, but today, it’s mainly associated with Muslim women and it is one of the most visible signs that one is a Muslim.
There are many types of veils, depending on the political system, geographic location, ethnicity, interpretation of literature, and customs. The most common types include:
These types of hijab can be found in many islamic online and modest Islamic clothing shops around Austarlia.
Simply because it is divine commandment as stated in the Quran:
"And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment [i.e., beauty]..." 21:31
The hijab for majority of Muslim women is a way to become closer to the Islamic faith. It is not a cultural thing that is imposed by tradition or a fashion statement. It is simply a divine act that protects society from evil.
Some women say that a hijab gives them a sense of liberation and freedom from choosing clothing or dealing with a bad hair day! while others wear it because the community, their friends, and family members do it which asserts their sense of belonging. However, the main reason is to please the Almighty.
It is also possible to add more layers. To add a layer, wrap the shayla tighter give room for the extra layer. You can also match fabrics and colours if you want to look more elegant. Minimize the number layers during summer, particularly if you’ve a lot of hair.
If you have snoozed your alarm too many times, and you are often late for work, you might find it hard to fiddle with the ball pins, as you try to put your hijab in place. The solution to this is taking a long rectangular scarf and wrap it round the head once, throw one end over the opposite shoulder, and you are good to go.
Conclusion
Modest dressing does not have to be boring! It can be stylish and trendy as you desire. When choosing the right hijab there are no restrictions when it comes to colours. You can select the ones you love and always go for light and pleasant colors because they attract less heat. Also, try to choose materials that are made from silk and cotton as they’ll not irritate your hair or skin.

The fact that online shops never close, makes it so convenient to place your order whenever you want. You don't have to fit it in your schedule. You can just do it before you sleep or even after praying salah. It literally takes a 1 - 3 mins to place your order, rather then spending hours shopping only to find that your size is out of stock. Nobody likes that feeling.
You also have the ability to have your order shipped as gift for your friends wedding, just by changing the delivery address. Some online shops even offer you the ability to leave a personalised message and to mark the order as a gift.
The best thing about online shopping is reviews. Many online shops today offer the ability to have customers leave reviews for the products they have got. This helps you to find the best item you are looking for. Reviews offer a great way for new customers to gain trust and to ensure that the quality is as described. It also helps the shop to make sure that they are doing their best interms of product quality and customer service.
Perhaps, the most important reason for Muslim women to shop online is the staggering variety of products on offer. Doing your abaya shopping online is the best way to browse all the different styles, colours and materials on offer without missing out on the one that's right for you.
Why bother endlessly searching through the rails of the retail store's limited stock when you can instantly find the perfect abaya for sale online? Online shopping is undoubtedly the quickest and easiest way to find that perfect something. So sit back, put your feet up, and browse our vast range of abayas, hijabs and more online here.

Every Muslim is dutybound by Allah to seek knowledge, to learn and educate oneself and to spread and help others with beneficial reminders. Knowledge is what makes possible the internet, the tallest building and even the spread of Islam. It is a valuable asset that can help you attain success in this world and in the hereafter.
This is why it is very important and why Allah made it compulsory for every Muslim to seek knowledge as best as they possibly can.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
طَلَبُ الْعِلْمِ فَرِيضَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ
"Seeking knowledge is a duty upon every Muslim (and Muslimah)." - Sunan Ibn Majah
The Prophet ﷺ also said:
"He who does not acquire knowledge with the sole intention of seeking the Pleasure of Allah but for worldly gain, will not smell the fragrance of Jannah on the Day of Resurrection." - Reference : Riyad as-Salihin 1391 [Abu Dawud]
And the fragrance of Jannah can smelt from the distance of 500 years. SubhanAllah.
So it is extremely important that as Muslims, we keep seeking knowledge not for ourselves but for the sake of Allah and the religion of Islam. Not just Worldly Knowledge but also Divine Knowledge that helps us become the best of people. If you are interested in Divine Knowledge, you should check out our vast range of Islamic Books.
Salah is obligatory on every Muslim. We must pray five times a day because this is a pillar of Islam. It is what makes you Muslim and its help us towards goodness and restrains us from sins. This is made evident when Allah says:
"Verily, Salah restrains (oneself) from shameful and unjust deeds…" - Quran 29:45
Salah is also the reason why we call ourselves Muslim, it the key factor of being a Muslim as we establish a connection with the Almighty on a consistent basis. Otherwise we would be no different from a non-Muslim.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The covenant that distinguishes between us and them is prayer; so whoever leaves it, he has committed Kufr." - Sunan Ibn Majah 1079
“On the Day of Judgment, a slave will be questioned about his prayers first. If his prayers are good, his other deeds will be good, too. If his prayers are bad, his other deeds will be bad, too.” - Tabarani, Targhib
“When a person who abandons prayers reaches Allah, he will see that Allah will have inflicted His wrath on him.” - Bazzar, Tabarani, Majma’uz Zawaid
No matter how good or bad your day is going, you must pray 5 times a day. Structure each day around your daily salah, remove friends from your life if you need too. There is Barakat (blessing) in everything Allah has made halal and compulsory for us.
Islam is all about Haya. Haya doesn't just mean modesty, it also translates too decency, honor, humility, inhibition, self-respect, shame, shyness and timidity.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "Haya does not bring anything except good." - Bukhari and "The character of Islam is Haya" - Abu Dawood, al-Muwatta
So having Haya is a very important characteristic that we should develop and embrace in our lives. This should be complemented with a Hijab, a Hijab for men and women.
For men, they are required by Islam to cover their knees, lower their gazes and wear clothing that does not cause indecency within the community. Similarly Muslim women must wear a physical veil on their heads, cover their awrah and lower their gazes.
"Women who are naked even though they are wearing clothes, go astray and make others go astray, and they will not enter the Garden and they will not find its scent, and its scent is experienced from as far as the distance travelled in five hundred years." - USC-MSA web (English) reference : Book 48, Hadith 7
"Tell the believing men to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allah is fully Aware of what they do." - Quran 24:30
"And tell the believing women to reduce some of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which necessarily appears thereof and to wrap a portion of their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment [i.e., beauty]" - Quran 24:31
So it is very important for both men and women to have Hijab and Haya.
Astrology, horoscopes, superstition, zodiac signs, black magic and fortune telling are all actions of Jahiliya (Ignorance) which Islam came to show as false and to explain that they are shirk, because they involve depending on something other than Allah and believing that benefit and harm come from something other than him.
“Whoever seeks knowledge from the stars is seeking one of the branches of witchcraft…” - Narrated by Abu Dawood
"He who visits fortune teller and asks him about anything, his prayers will not be accepted for forty nights." - Sahih Muslim 2230
Therefore it is a major sin to believe, use or have any association with them. It is best not to discuss them, to stay far away from them. As Muslims we should not even go near Haram, let alone be associated ourselves with Shirk and Ignorance.
Allah's Messenger ﷺ said:
"A good friend is like a perfume seller. The perfume seller might give you perfume as a gift or you might smell of him, or at least might smell it's fragrance - A bad friend is like a blacksmith, he might singe your clothes and at the very least you will breathe in the fumes of the furnace." - Bukhari, Muslim
When you realise the power of influence, you won’t surround yourself with just anyone. Be careful of who you call your friend. Their influence will rub off on you over time. If you accompany yourself with wrongdoers, your likelihood of becoming like them increases exponentially.
It is best to become friends with people who make you a better person or encourage you towards righteousness. We should be helping each other in the best manner, in a character similar to the Prophet ﷺ that invites people closer towards the beauty of Islam and does not push people away.
Good friends stay by your side, they are always honest with you and give you advise in your best interest according the Sunnah and Quran. Keep people like that close to you and watch how they put Barakat (blessing) in your life and you in theirs.
We hope you took something good from this blog post and if you are interested in expanding your Islamic knowledge, you should definitely look into our range our Islamic Books.
